A Simple qPCR Analysis Tool

I've been busy since the new semester started, so updates have slowed down — please bear with me 🙇

Today I'd like to share a simple qPCR analysis tool I built. You can upload a CSV or Excel file (note: the first row of the Excel file must be a header, or you'll get an error). The tool automatically calculates ΔΔCt fold changes and generates a bar chart with statistical annotations. It supports exporting results as tables, exporting figures (PNG/PDF), custom housekeeping gene selection, sample reordering, and more.

Try the early-access version here: https://apps.bioinfospace.com/qpcr-analysis/

Your input file needs the following columns: Target (gene name), Sample (sample name), and Cq (Cq/Ct value). Column order doesn't matter — any additional columns will be ignored.

Since the app is deployed overseas, users in mainland China may experience slow loading or be unable to access it — don't give up! Here's the source code (please credit the source if you reprint or modify it):

Running it locally or deploying it yourself is straightforward: just clone the repo and run it in RStudio. Alternatively, you can package the entire folder and upload it to a cloud hosting service such as shinyapps.io.

The README on GitHub and the built-in Help tab contain more detailed usage instructions.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!
